I started doing professional photography back in the 80's, mostly portraits and weddings using a medium format body and film back loaded with Kodak Vericolor Pro film.

When I got too busy, I took some time off from paying photo jobs to pursue other interests. The break allowed me to devote time to other things I enjoyed. Activities such as photographing Great Lakes' shipwrecks, cave diving and other under water photography.

About 15 years ago, I re-discovered my love of photography, sold all my film equipment, disassembled my color darkroom and made the move to digital. My DSLR bodies are all Nikon as is most of my glass.

I'm now back to doing the photography I love again.  At this point in my life, I'm no longer shooting weddings.
